- one time cost no monthly service costs

- good support from most companies

- if internet is not working all your LOCAL computer work continues

- does not violate Canadian federal and provincial laws for data storage location

- total data security you are in control of your data at all times

Cons

- outages must be repaired by yourself, staff or paid contractors
